This weekend Lewis Hamilton, Niko Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel renew their battle for the F1 drivers’ championship at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Hamilton comes into the race off the back of a commanding victory in the Chinese Grand Prix, and leads the drivers’ standings by 13 points from Ferrari’s Vettel, with Mercedes teammate Rosberg a further four points back.
Despite being just the fourth race of the year, Bahrain is already shaping up to be of particular importance for Rosberg, who’s started 2015 in the same style he finished last season: playing second fiddle to Hamilton. The German hasn’t beaten his British teammate in any of the last four races, while Hamilton has won eight of his last 10 starts.
In the U.S., NBCSN’s live coverage of the race starts at 10:30am Eastern on Sunday April 19th, and they’ll also be broadcasting live coverage of qualifying from 11am Eastern on Saturday April 18th via CNBC, with a replay on NBCSN at 7:30pm Eastern. Replays of the race itself will be available via NBC Sports Extra after the race.
