There are three scheduled matches left on the La Liga calendar, but recent reports suggest the final two are in danger as a TV rights contract dispute has taken over the news. Though most believe it will be resolved before the end of the season, there is still a chance there is no La Liga soccer after May 16. If that’s the case, there will be no league winner declared.

If this is the last week of the season and only a theoretical champion is on the line, Real Madrid must hope a miracle this weekend as they enter the set of fixtures two points behind arch rival Barcelona. Madrid does own the tiebreaker, so if Barcelona draws at home against Real Sociedad and Madrid can see of the challenge of dangerous Valencia on Saturday, Madrid would take top spot back.

Valencia will have a lot to say about that, as they defeated Real Madrid 2-1 earlier this season and is closing in on a Champions League spot.
