Looking for its first Copa America final appearance since 1987 and its first title in the country’s history, Chile will face Peru on Monday night in the first of two semifinals. Known as the Clasico del Pacifico, the bordering nationals played their first match in the 1935 South American Championship. They will be meeting for the 75th time on Monday, with Chile having claimed 40 victories.

Chile will be without defender Gonzalo Jara, who was suspended for three matches in the aftermath of a wild scene in the second half of Chile’s 1-0 quarterfinal win over Uruguay. Led by an experienced attack, Peru will hope to build on putting three goals past Bolivia in the last round.

Argentina and Paraguay will square off on Tuesday in the second semifinal.
