Mexico has yet to lose at Copa America 2015, but it is still in desperate need of a strong result against Ecuador on Friday.

With draws against Bolivia and Chile in its first two matches, El Tri sits at two points behind Bolivia and Chile, who each have four points. Odds are they will advance to the knockout round (top two teams from each group advance, as well as the top-two third-place teams), but it’s certainly not a guarantee. Getting three points in the last match of group play is vital for Miguel Herrera’s squad.

Fortunately, El Tri goes up against Ecuador, who have given up a tournament-high five goals in two losses thus far. Raul Jimenez, Vicente Matias Vuoso and the Mexican attack should have plenty of chances to find the back of the net.
