The world got to know Annie Verret on a warm Sunday night in April in Augusta, Georgia, when her boyfriend Jordan Spieth was completing his remarkable wire-to-wire Masters win.
She greeted him with a congratulatory kiss after he sunk his final putt on the 72nd hole of his first major tournament victory. The cameras caught the smooch and minutes later, she and Jordan were the newest “it” couple on the PGA Tour.
But a month later when Spieth won the U.S. Open in Washington state, the internet went abuzz when Verret didn’t make it to Chambers Bay.
Trouble in paradise? Hardly. In fact, Annie and Jordan celebrated that victory together … in paradise.
They jetted off to the Bahamas for a little fun in the sun before getting back on the course.
Now we’ve come to major No. 3 of the season and in what is becoming a common occurrence, Spieth is in position to win.
So, did Annie make it to Scotland to watch Jordan and the British Open in person?
She hasn’t been spotted yet, but that doesn’t mean she’s not at St. Andrews.
The ESPN telecast noted Spieth has been spending time each night with a group family and friends who are on hand to cheer him on.
