The NXT Revolution Is Here

The Bella Twins got a rude awakening when Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks all made their Monday Night Raw debuts collectively and made their mark known in the Divas Division.

John Cena Was Challenged By Rusev, Kevin Owens & Cesaro

Rusev came out to answer Cena’s U.S. Championship Open Challenge. After each men made their pitch, a triple threat match was made. Rusev won

Cena and Rusev then had a match which was interrupted by Owens hi said that the U.S title was his title.

Preview

The top bouts at Battleground were established weeks ago. Going into Sunday’s pay-per-view here are your top four matches:

– Randy Orton will take on the 2015 Money in the Bank winner Sheamus
– Bray Wyatt takes on Roman Reigns after costing him that same briefcase/contract
– John Cena defends the United States Championship in his third match against recent call-up and former NXT Champion Kevin Owens
– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will defend his championship against Brock Lesnar — a man Rollins never pinned to win the championship

Last year around this time John Cena was WWEWHC and Lesnar was getting ready to come after Cena. Now, Lesnar faces a similar task, this time against the Authority’s slimy grease ball. To get Rollins ready, last week Lesnar disposed of J&J Security and their brand new Cadillac (as seen in the video above). Will Lesnar get his hands on Rollins and will Rollins enter Suplex City six days earlier than he anticipated?

Also, after being taken to the breaking point last week (again) by Cesaro, Cena remained the U.S. Champion despite having Owens come out and willingly challenge the champ instead of waiting two weeks until Battleground. Owens lost the NXT Championship to Finn Balor on WWE’s “Beast in the East” special from Tokyo, Japan, on July 4th. Owens is out for retribution and there’s bad blood between him and Cena. What will Owens try and do to get the upper hand just six days before Battleground — especially after last week’s attempted post-match sneak attacked failed and left Owens on the entrance way after taking an Attitude Adjustment.

In case you missed it, here is what happened in full on last week’s episode:
