Barcelona doesn’t have to wait too long to exact revenge for an embarrassing Spanish Super Cup defeat to Athletic Bilbao; the two teams meet in the opening round of La Liga fixtures on Sunday.
Bilbao’s celebrations were cut short in midweek however, as they threw away a 2-0 lead in the first leg of the Europa League qualifier with Slovakian side Zilina. Also, forward Inaki Williams was injured in the match and will likely miss the game against Barcelona.
One player who won’t be eligible for the rematch is Barcelona defender Pique, who will be suspended the next four matches for a verbal assault on a linesman.
The match kicks off at 12:30 p.m. EST/5:30 p.m. GMT and can be seen on BeIN Sports (US), Sky Sports 3 (UK), and Movistar TV (Spain). Here’s how to watch the match online and on mobile:
