Chelsea and Fiorentina meet Wednesday in what will be the final match of the 2015 International Champions Cup.
Playing at Stamford Bridge, the Blues will enter as favorites, but it has been a fairly uneven run of recent results for the defending Premier League champions. In ICC play, they lost to the MLS’ New York Red Bulls, beat both PSG and Barcelona via penalties, then had a disappointing defeat at the hands of Arsenal in the Community Shield at Wembley.
Fiorentina, meanwhile, will come into London full of confidence. Three days ago, Paulo Sousa’s squad defeated European champs Barcelona, 2-1, thanks to an early brace from Federico Bernardeschi.
