The Texans open NRG Stadium for their first regular season game in 2015, as the Kansas City Chiefs come to town for an AFC showdown. Both quarterbacks will be in the crosshairs, as elite pass rushers J.J. Watt and Justin Houston will be a constant presence.
On the sideline, two top offensive minds will go head-to-head. The two teams didn’t meet last season, so this will be the first head coaching matchup between Andy Reid and Bill O’Brien. Both coaches will try to maximize the limited skill of their quarterbacks, and trust their defense to generate turnovers when needed.
