While tight ends are scoring fantasy points at a record rate in 2015, it’s not rosy for all of them.
The injury bug bit in Week 2, claiming some of the more productive TEs of the young season. Let’s take a look:
Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Buccaneers: Seferian-Jenkins is on the shelf for 4-to-6 weeks with a strained shoulder, another big injury in his very young NFL career. The tools are there, but he’s having trouble staying on the field.
Delanie Walker, Titans: Walker is dealing with sprained ligaments in his right wrist and his status for Sunday is up in the air. One of the more productive TEs out there, Walker missed Week 2.
Jordan Cameron, Dolphins: Cameron is another who keeps the training staff extremely busy. He left Week 2 with a groin injury and is considered questionable for this weekend. History says Cameron probably won’t be ready. His replacement, Jake Stoneburner, scored in Week 2.
