WATCH: Aaron Williams Taken Away on Ambulance vs. Patriots

A bad day for the Buffalo Bills got worse in the third quarter against the New England Patriots.

Bills safety Aaron Williams suffered an injury in the third quarter against the Patriots. On a touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Julian Edelman, Williams was hurt on the play and was taken away on an ambulance.

He was motionless on the ground for minutes as the medical staff treated him.

The Bills huddled for a team prayer as Williams was loaded into the ambulance.

The Bills announced soon after that he had a neck injury, and that he was released from the hospital after a series of tests.

Williams, 25, was a second round pick in the 2011 draft by the Bills. He has seven career interceptions.
