The NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup playoffs get started Sunday afternoon at Chicagoland Speedway with the MyAFibRisk.com 400.
After rain washed away qualifying over the weekend at Joliet, Illinois, Kevin Harvick earned the pole with the fastest speed (188.317 mph) during practice. Harvick has won at Chicagoland in both 2001 and 2002.
Brad Keselowski, who has entered the victory circle two of the last three years at Chicagoland, will start third.
The winner Sunday night will automatically qualify for the Contender Round, which will narrow the current field down to 12 drivers after the Sylvania 300 and AAA 400.
Race coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET, while the green flag is scheduled to be waved at about 3:16 p.m. ET. NBC Sports Network will have coverage, but if you can’t get to a TV, here’s how to watch online or on mobile:
