UPDATE: Arian Foster has returned to the game in the 3rd quarter.

It’s all falling apart for the Texans.

On the same drive that saw Ryan Mallett leave the field, Arian Foster walked off with trainers after getting hit hard by Colts LB D’Qwell Jackson.

Things got weird afterwards, when Foster snuck onto the field before he was finished being examined. After the drive ended with a Nick Novak field goal, Foster’s helmet was taken away so he could be fully examined.

After being told he had to head to the locker for examination, Foster was irate on the sidelines, throwing water bottles.

Before the hit, Foster was a large part of the Texans offense. He carried 12 times for 25 yards, and caught three passes.

If Foster is unable to finish the game, it’s no big change for the Texans. They’ll go back to Alfred Bue and Chris Polk.

This was supposed to be Foster’s big coming out party. The Texans back has missed the start of the season due to a groin injury, and played only a small portion of last week’s loss to Atlanta.
