Here is a look at Lee Corso as James Madison as the Dukes bulldog:

The James Madison mascot is a bulldog with a crown on it. Where did the idea come from? The Dukes were named after the school’s first president Samuel Duke. The school decided that a “duke” would own a pet bulldog, an idea that prompted the bulldog to become the mascot.

Corso and the rest of the Gameday crew were joined by country music star Dierks Bentley who was the Celbrity Guest Picker. Bentley is just the latest country music star to join the show this season. Eric Church and Brad Paisley were on the show in previous weeks.

Gameday broadcast from James Madison, an FCS program. It was a step away from the traditional sites that Gameday normally visits but the show has visited schools like North Dakota State and Harvard in the past.
