Jay Cutler is at it again.

Faced against a lightning fast Kansas City pass rush, Cutler made his first mistake of the game at the worst time, when he’s standing at his own goal line.

Jaye Howard made the sack, and the Chiefs are on the board early.

It’s an important start for a Chiefs team in desperation mode. The team has started 1-3, and has struggled to score touchdowns this season. The offense failed to score a TD at all last week, instead settling for seven field goals from Cairo Santos. The team invested in their offense in the offseason, but the signing of Jeremy Maclin hasn’t had a drastic effect on their explosiveness. The Chiefs ended their insane streak of wide receivers not scoring touchdowns, but still appear to be limited by the range of QB Alex Smith.

The Chiefs are now up 7-0. Stay with Heavy for any updates.
