WATCH: Cubs Celebrate After Clinching Spot in NLCS

The Chicago Cubs are celebrating like it’s 2003.

Joe Maddon‘s team out-lasted the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-4, on Tuesday afternoon, clinching a spot in the National League Championship Series for the franchise’s first time in 12 years.

Manny Ramirez, who has helped the Cubs as a coach, joined in on the celebration:

Moreover, as FOX Sports’ Jon Morosi noted, it was first time ever the fans at Wrigley got to see the Cubs clinch a postseason series:

Jeff Passan gave a look at the final out from the stadium, which was raucous all game long:

With a spot in the World Series on the line, the Cubs, who have now eliminated the only teams that had a better record than them during the regular season, will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers or New York Mets.
