Forty-seven matches down, one to go.
And it’s the one most people were expecting when the 2015 Rugby World Cup started well over a month ago: New Zealand vs. Australia.
The two storied rugby nations are No. 1 and 2 in the world. They have combined to win four of seven World Cup titles. They feature four of the six 2015 Rugby World Player of the Year nominees. They have played each other 154 times in history, forming the most compelling rivalry in the sport.
And now they’ll battle for the sport’s greatest achievement: The Webb Ellis Cup. Will the All Blacks make it two titles in a row for the first time since the Rugby World Cup began in 1987? Or will Australia pull off the upset?
