Who Is Favored in the Alabama-LSU Game?

What many consider to be the biggest game of the 2015 college football season takes place in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night as No. 4 LSU takes on No. 7 Alabama in a clash of SEC heavyweights. The winner of the game will not only be in the driver’s seat to win the SEC West, but also has a good chance of advancing to the College Football Playoff.

According to OddsShark, Alabama is a 6.5 point favorite against LSU. The over/under is set at 52. LSU has gone 4-2 against the spread over the last six games while Alabama has gone 2-5 in its last seven.

It is a massive game for both teams, but the Crimson Tide have more to lose. LSU is a perfect 7-0 while Alabama is 7-1 on the season.

Alabama’s home loss to Ole Miss earlier in the season continues to loom over their recent success.

An LSU loss would diminish their chances of winning the SEC, but it would only give them one loss for the season. Two losses for Alabama would essentially eliminate them from winning the SEC as well as advancing to the College Football Playoff.

There is a lot on the line in Tuscaloosa this Saturday night as the Tigers come to town.
