With ten teams vying for Russia, CONMEBOL is on a tight schedule. According to Oscar Rojas of livesoccertv.com, Brazilian officials attempted to delay the kickoff time Thursday night but were ultimately forced to postpone.

The sides are not without excuses. Both have been missing their greatest weapons. Neymar is finished serving his two-game international ban, and is ready to return to form for Brazil. He, along with Willian and Bayern’s Douglas Costa, have a great opportunity to grab three points against a limping Argentina side.

La Albiceleste still have 16 games to climb the CONMEBOL standings, but they need to get healthy if they want a chance. Messi, Aguero, and Carlos Tevez are all out for tonight’s game, forcing Martino to look to his depth. Expect to see Di María,Lavezzi and Higuaín take their places, as Argentina needs to attack against a sluggish Brazil defense.
