Be very careful this week when betting Sunday’s Broncos-Colts matchup. While this may appear to be an easy win for Denver, it has all the signs of a trap game for gamblers. Peyton Manning has been good in his recent return trips to Indianapolis, but the Colts are in desperation mode in the AFC South. By the time they kickoff Sunday, the Colts could be in a three-way tie with Jacksonville and Houston for the division lead. Indianapolis holds all the tiebreakers, but they need this game for more than the undefeated Broncos.

While the Colts struggled Monday night against the Panthers, it’s worth noting they’re in the midst of a brutal series of games. Their three consecutive losses have come against the Patriots, Saints, and Panthers, who all play wildly different styles of offense. Not making excuses for Chuck Pagano and Co., but it’s hard to believe the Colts are as bad as their record indicates.
