Oh, Philadelphia. You’ve been so up and down this season, you’re practically at yo-yo status. But despite the miscues and the disappointments, the Eagles are still just one game out of first place in the NFC East.

Now, the Eagles try to get back on track, again, with a matchup against the young and mistake-prone Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia comes into the matchup as 7-point favorites according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.

It won’t be easy though.

Sam Bradford is sidelined with injury this week, leaving the direction of the Eagles fast paced offense under the control of Mark Sanchez who threw a game-ending interception in the end zone last week.

Still, the odds are, historically on the Eagles side.

Philadelphia is 12-5 SU in its last 17 games at home and 7-3 SU in its last 10 games when playing Tampa Bay. In the last six games at home against the Bucs, Philadelphia is 4-2 SU and 4-2 ATS.

Of course, things have not been picture-perfect for Tampa Bay either.

The Buccaneers are 5-16 SU in their last 21 games and 5-15 SU in their last 20 games on the road. In its last 10 games on the road as the underdog, Tampa Bay is 3-7 overall, 7-3 ATS and 3-7 over/under.

Tampa Bay has lost its last three games against the Eagles while failing to cover in each contest and Philadelphia is consistently successful in November. The Eagles are 8-2 SU and ATS in their last 10 games this month.

The total for Sunday afternoon’s tilt is set at 45.5 points according to the sportsbooks. The total has gone UNDER in 13 of Tampa Bay’s last 19 games, but UNDER in four of the Bucs last five games on the road. On the flip side, the total has gone OVER in four of the Eagles last six games against Tampa Bay.

The OddsShark computer is predicting a 21.6 – 28.9 Philadelphia victory.
