If Manchester United want into the UEFA Champions League knockout stage, they’ve made it pretty easy on themselves.

United have taken seven of nine possible points in their last three UCL matches, seizing control of Group B after an opening Matchday loss to PSV. Now United can exact revenge at Old Trafford, where Eindhoven are winless in two appearances.
In general, Eindhoven have struggled away from home in the European competition. They’ve lost nine of their last 11 Champions League matches, and have not scored more than two goals in a UCL game since 2005.
If United doesn’t take all the points Wednesday, Group B could be in for a dramatic finish. Last-place Moscow is just three points behind United, and it’s still possible United could be upended in the final two weeks.
