The Washington Redskins did not look good last week. The New Orleans Saints lost in overtime last week.
In other words, both squads would like to get back on track on Sunday afternoon.
November hasn’t been kind of the Redskins in recent years, but in their second matchup of the month, Washington is hoping to buck that trend against a New Orleans defense that hasn’t done much to inspire confidence at all this fall.
Kirk Cousins will have to lead that charge and while the quarterback hasn’t fared well in high-pressure situations, he’s going up against a Saints defense that has allowed 292.2 passing yards and 29.8 points a game. If Cousins can find a rhythm with the newly returned DeSean Jackson, things could turn around quickly for Washington.
