Real Madrid wasn’t the only club embarrassed on Saturday.

Manchester City was torched by Liverpool, falling 4-1 to Klopp’s men. The loss dropped City out of the top of the EPL table, and they’ll look to respond Wednesday against Juventus in their penultimate group stage match.

City has already clinched it’s passage into the next round, but still needs points to lockdown the top spot in Group D. That way they’ll avoid the likes of Barcelona and Bayern in the next round, something that has cost them in previous years.

Regarding the loss, City manager Manuel Pellegrini told reporters that his side moved past the defeat as soon as possible.

“I think that we finished with the game – that very bad game that we played on Saturday – on Sunday morning,” he told reporters. “..It was a strange and fake game that we played, and that is the past. It is more important to think about the future. I hope we will return to our normal performance.”

Today’s game will be available on Fox Sports Two in the US at 2:45 p.m. Eastern. Because of an agreement between FOX and ESPN, the game will be available on both streaming platforms (WatchESPN & Fox Sports GO).
