United will need a victory in Germany today to guarantee they are one of the 16 final teams remaining in the Champions League. Wolfsburg, who have never advanced past the group stage, need only a draw to advance. Behind the two teams in the standings is PSV Eindhoven, who are just one point back and can jump into the top two with a win over CSKA Moscow.

Holding back Wolfsburg shouldn’t be a problem, but United have been lacking in goals recently. They’ve conceded just three goals in their last ten matches across all competitions, but they’ve only scored seven over the same stretch. It won’t be easier with Wayne Rooney on the sidelines, as Rooney is still dealing with an ankle injury and won’t dress. That puts the scoring on the young shoulders of Anthony Martial, who has scored just once in his last 13 matches.
