The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos clash for the chance to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. It is also being dubbed as “Brady-Manning XVII” as it is the 17th time the legendary quarterbacks have battled.

According to OddsShark, the Patriots are a three point favorite heading into the contest. The over-under is set at 44.5 points.

The Patriots are 8-6-3 against the spread this season while the Broncos are 7-7-3. Patriots games have trended towards the over as five of their last seven contests have gone over the point total. Broncos games have gone under the total in four of their last six matchups.

The OddsShark data shows the propensity for this game to go over the point total.

OddsShark is bullish on the Broncos chances. The OddsShark computer is projecting a 27-14.8 Denver victory. The computer is taking the Broncos +3 and under on the point total.

Heavy is fading the computer for the AFC championship game. Denver’s offensive struggles will finally catch up to them as Tom Brady and the Patriots head to their second straight Super Bowl. While the Broncos defense will keep them in the game, the offense will not be able to put enough points on the board.

Heavy’s Pick: Patriots 27 Broncos 20. Patriots -3. Over on the point total.
