Julian Edelman is expected to play in the Patriots Divisional round playoff game against the Chiefs. It will be the first time Edelman has played since Week 10, a game in which Edelman broke his foot against the New York Jets.

As a matter of fact, Edelman has been practicing on a limited basis this week, but according to rotoworld.com is ready to go “full throttle.” New England’s slot receiver should have a big role in the passing game on Saturday, particularly if Rob Gronkowski (knee, back) isn’t able to suit up.

In fact, Edelman seems to be so psyched up to play that he created a hype-up video to get his teammates ready to go against Kansas City.

The likely return of Edelman, coupled with an increasingly apparent sign that Gronkowski will suit up, means Tom Brady will have his top two options on Saturday afternoon.

Edelman has shined in the playoffs in his career. During last year’s New England Super Bowl run, Edelman had 26 receptions for 281 yards in the Patriots’ three playoff games, including a touchdown catch against the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
