Liverpool have never lost to a League Two side, and they’ll look to keep that record spotless when Exeter City come to Anfield. The sides played to a 2-2 draw at St. James Park, with a late Liverpool goal forcing the replay. Exeter haven’t seen the fourth round of the FA Cup since 1981, and know that all the pressure in today’s match is on the Reds.
“We’ve rotated the squad a little and got plenty of players playing and now we can look forward to this one,” said Exeter manager Paul Tisdale earlier this week.
“We’re going to enjoy it; we have nothing to lose.”
With injuries and a busy schedule, expect a young lineup for Liverpool, similar to the one Klopp played in the first meeting. Young players like Brad Smith and Connor Randall are likely to make another appearance.
