Liverpool and United meet for the 194th time on Sunday, with both clubs looking to inch closer to the top of the BPL table. It’s not often the teams are placed ninth and sixth, respectively, but this still ranks as one of the top matchups on the English calendar.

Both of these squads played midweek, and both played to entertaining 3-3 draws. The difference was that Liverpool drew top-ranked Arsenal, while United struggled against Newcastle.

Despite their current struggles, United have played well at Anfield in recent trips. Van Gaal’s club have won two of their previous four fixtures at Anfield, and LVG has never lost to Liverpool in his managerial career. Klopp has never faced United, but Liverpool can draw the two clubs level on points with a victory today.

Today’s match will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network, starting at 9:05 a.m. Eastern.
