Ronda Rousey is ready to return to the spotlight.
With the exception of a few social media posts here and there, the former UFC bantamweight champ has remained mostly quiet since her stunning defeat to Holly Holm in November.
But she’s ready to change that. The 28-year-old is set to host Saturday Night Live this weekend (January 23), and you can watch a handful of promos featuring her and Beck Bennett above.
Heading into Rousey’s SNL debut, many will be wondering one thing: Will she make fun of herself, or will there even be any mention of her devastating knockout at the hands of Holm? There’s no reference to it in the promos, but there is a lot of focus on her ability as a UFC star, and there’s even a judo throw on Beck “The Wreck.”
Either way, Rousey looks comfortable as host, and it should be an entertaining night. And perhaps a necessary night for Rousey, who has been under a lot of public scrutiny over the past couple of months.
