Game Preview: Ok, we know Arkansas Little Rock is the brand-new darling of the NCAA Tournament. And they should be. This team was fun to watch on Thursday (sorry, Purdue fans) and they’re a combination of all the good things of this time of year.

But. But. This might be the end of the dance for Cinderella.

Iowa State has been up and down all season and there have been some disappointing moments as the Cyclones were unable to defend their Big 12 title. But. But.

This is a good basketball team. Georges Niang is a very good basketball player. He led five players with 10 points or more in the win over Iona on Thursday. He finished with 28 points.

If Niang can get going again, and there’s a good chance he does, this Iowa State team could roll into the Sweet 16.

Sorry, Cinderella.
