WWE RAW Spoilers & Results: March 21

WWE RAW spoilers, RAW spoilers, WWE RAW

The League of Nations is looking to make its mark before WrestleMania, but will the group do on Monday night? (Instagram)

We’re only a few weeks away from WrestleMania 32 and the drama in the ring is almost as exciting as the drama out of it.

Roman Reigns is still on the war path against Triple H and the McMahon family and while we’re secretly hoping that the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will throw a TV at the current title-holder again tonight, we’re not holding our breath for another beatdown.

That doesn’t, however, mean there won’t be a confrontation of some sort. In fact, we’re pretty positive there will be more than a few of them. Read on for a complete breakdown of tonight’s WWE RAW from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:

AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens

Winner: Kevin Owens

After Stephanie McMahon and Roman Reigns opened with a war of words of sorts, we got right into the matches. The first one was excellent.

AJ Styles and Kevin Owens went at it for a good amount of time, trading hits and attempts at finishing moves before Styles appeared to get the edge on Owens. That’s when Chris Jericho’s music sounded. Jericho succeeded in distracting Styles just long enough for Owens to roll up for the win.

Again, however, it was what happened after the bell that was the most interesting.

Styles chased Jericho out of the ring and Owens grabbed the mic, claiming that his match at WrestleMania would be the greatest event in WWE history. He’s eventually interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and Sami Zayn. All three argue over who will get their shot at Owens, but Owens states he’s going to The Authority to see if a Triple Threat match can be staged. The winner, he says, will face him at WrestleMania.

Looks like Owens got what he wanted:

Big E vs. Rusev

Winner: Big E

The reign of The New Day continues. And the League of Nations just can’t get any headway in this wanna-be feud.

Big E controlled much of the match, while Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods fended off the reset of the League outside of the ring. The pair made sure that the rest of the League could not distract Big E during the rest of the match and Kofi made sure he was able to get the win by taking down Rusevv while the referee was distracted. Big E came in and executed the Big Ending.

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango

Winner: Chris Jericho

Well, that happened.

Jericho controlled much of the short match and while AJ Styles tried to distract him, the Superstar was able to get the win fairly easily.

Styles tried to spark a match afterwards, but Jericho retreats. Styles says he will prove to Jericho why everyone has turned on him soon.

Contenders Threat: Zack Ryder vs. Stardust vs. Sin Cara

So, remember when The Authority agreed for the match to determine who would get the “right” to battle Kevin Owens at WrestleMania? Yeah, well, it wasn’t who we expected.

The three battled each other in the ring while Owens sat ringside and provided some of his usual snarky commentary.

Then, however, the party arrived.

Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn and The Miz all came down the ramp near the end of the match and stood, starring at Owens. The original match was called off as a big brawl breaks out and all six men attack Owens.

Owens runs backstage and questions Stephanie McMahon over what happens. She announces that he will defend his title in a ladder match against all six wrestlers at WrestleMania.

Charlotte vs. Natalya

Winner: Charlotte

It didn’t really take long for Charlotte to take down her opponent, while Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch were close by watching the match ringside.

After taking down Natalya, Charlotte did a bit of taunting and that was that.

Bubba Ray Dudle vs. R-Truth

Winner: Bubba Ray Dudley

Another one where the match wasn’t really all that exciting, but what happened afterwards was.

It didn’t take long for Bubba Ray to take out R-Truth, but Goldust did show up, so it appears that tag team tandem is on its way to being official. Then, for good measure, The Uso showed up and beat down.

The tables were taken out at some point, but Bubba pulled D-Von away from the final smash through the table. The Dudleyz walked away talking about how The Usos didn’t beat them.

Dean Ambrose vs. Braun Strowman

Winner by DQ: Braun Strowman

Ok, so the only reason Strowman won was because Dean Ambrose took out a chair and started beating him with it.

Strowman probably had a bit of an edge on Ambrose down the stretch, but this was more about making a point for DA than any actual victory. It also helped that Paul Heyman was sitting ringside.

When Ambrose walked out of the ring, chair in hand, he made sure Heyman knew he was coming for his client.

Tonight’s WWE RAW, which tapes from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA, has yet to officially announce any particular matches yet, but the following Superstars have been advertised:  WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Chris Jericho, Sheamus, The Wyatt Family, AJ Styles, WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon.

We’ve also got a few spoilers to share for tonight’s RAW and, surprisingly enough, not all of them have to do with Reigns.

While his beef with The Authority will certainly be at the forefront of tonight’s taping, he’s not the only one dealing with the McMahons. Dolph Ziggler is also expected to make a move, still desperate to earn a match at WrestleMania.

And speaking of WrestleMania, the participants of the third annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal are expected to be announced tonight.

Meanwhile, in the Divas world, the CharlotteSasha BanksBecky Lynch rivalry is going to kick into full gear and Lana’s still somewhat confusing rivalry with Brie Bella will continue to be a major factor.

WWE RAW airs at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network. Make sure to check back here throughout the show for match results and highlights.
