With three prep races all on April 9, it was the biggest day on the road to the Kentucky Derby. Just two races with points up for grabs remain before next month’s marquee event at Churchill Downs.
The Arkansas Derby offers a 100-40-20-10 points breakdown and the Lexington has 10-4-2-1 up for grabs. Both races are Saturday, April 16.
In the April 9th prep races, Brody’s Cause won the Blue Grass Stakes, Outwork won The Wood Memorial and Exaggerator had a come from behind victory in the Santa Anita Derby.
