The Los Angeles Kings can’t really afford to lose tonight.

The squad is facing a two-game deficit after dropping both matchups on home ice to open the series against the San Jose Sharks. In other words, a win tonight is essentially a must.

So, how do they do it? Well, first, Los Angeles can’t panic. After all, this is a spot the Kings have been in before. In 2014 the team battled back from a three-goal hole to take down, of course, the Sharks in the first round of the postseason.

Los Angeles is also expected to make a few lineup changes tonight, particularly when it comes to Marian Gaborik who returned to the lineup in Game 2. If the Kings can get him back in the swing of things, the gameplan will be different and, they hope, more effective.
