After an uninspired performance forced Manchester City out of the Champions League, they must redirect their focus back to the Premier League and ensure a return trip next season. A focus on Europe has seen City take four points from three matches, and now Manchester United loom just one point behind. A win over Arsenal would settle nerves, as well as push the Gunners for third place in the table.
Unfortunately, City returned from Spain battered and bruised. Several players are set to miss today’s match, including captain Vincent Kompany, who also revealed this week he will miss EURO 2016 treating a groin injury he suffered 10 minutes into the team’s loss.
