Is history going to repeat itself?

The Washington Capitals were the best team in the entire NHL during the regular season, but now the squad is facing elimination on Saturday night as they return home for a Game 5 tilt against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Caps have dropped three straight after winning the series opener in OT and are hoping to stave off yet another early, and disappointing, elimination from the Stanley Cup playoffs. Of course, Pittsburgh is hoping for exactly the opposite, looking to notch a berth in the Eastern Conference finals.
