The Golden State Warriors entered the playoffs after a record breaking regular season. They were issued a wake up call in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals as the Thunder beat them on their home floor.

According to OddsShark, the Warriors enter Game 2 as 8.5 point favorites over the Thunder. The point total is set at 220 for the two best offenses in the NBA.

Golden State is 9-4 against the spread in its last 13 games. The Thunder are 5-1 in their last six games.

The OddsShark computer is projecting a 112-107 Warriors victory in tonight’s contest. The computer is taking the Thunder against the spread and the under on the points total.

Heavy sees the Warriors as bouncing back and winning Game 2. Game 1 brought the Warriors face to face with the reality of their own vulnerability and realize now they can lose this series. Expect a much better shooting performance from the Warriors in tonight’s game.

We still like the Thunder to keep the game close. Golden State has no answer for defending Russell Westbrook and the Thunder proved they may be the one team with enough offensive firepower to stay with the Warriors. We like the Warriors to win in a close one.

Heavy’s Pick: Golden State Warriors 108 Oklahoma City Thunder 104. Thunder +8.5. Under on the point total.
