One of the most decorated soccer players of all time has been caught up in yet another shocking personal scandal. The Sun in the United Kingdom is reporting that Ryan Giggs is to divorce his wife of 9 years. The tabloid also says that the Manchester United assistant manager has been linked to PR expert Kate Greville, 32. They add that Giggs has been “lavishing gifts” upon the Abu Dhabi-based exec. She had previously worked closely with Giggs in the launch of his soccer-themed hotel in Manchester.

1. The British Tabloids Say Giggs’ Wife Ended Their Marriage Over His Flirting With Waitresses at a Restaurant He Owns
In April 2016, the Daily Mirror reported that Giggs’ wife, Stacey Cooke,was planning to divorce the Manchester United legend. The tabloid says Cooke told a friend, “There’s no way back. Ryan and I are finished. Word got back to Stacey that Ryan had been flirting with some of the waitresses at George’s, and she had had enough.”
George’s is the restaurant that Giggs owns in the northern English town of Worsley, where Giggs and his wife live. The couple were married in 2007 and have two children together.
2. Greville Has Worked in PR for Manchester United, Pizza Hut & North Face
Greville worked for Tangerine PR in the Manchester area where she helped to promote the Ryan Giggs-backed Hotel Football Old Trafford in 2014.
According to Media Network, in October 2015, Greville relocated to Abu-Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates to work for Q Communications. The announcement of her new job includes the references that she had previously worked for Manchester United, Pizza Hut and North Face. In April 2016, Greville was spotted on the red carpet of an exclusive event in Dubai.
On her Twitter page, Greville identifies herself as the managing director of Q Communications in the Middle East. It adds that she works in “the hospitality, health & beauty, leisure and lifestyle sectors.” The Daily Mirror reports that Greville’s move was motivated by her wanting a “fresh start” and adds that since the move, Greville and Giggs’ relationship has “cooled.”
According to her LinkedIn page, Greville went to high school in Shrewsbury and graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2006. She also says that on that page that she previously worked with British boxer Amir Khan.
3. She Made the Front Page of The Sun in 2008 After She Went to One of the UK’s Premier Horse Racing Events With a Giant Piece of Cheese on Her Head
This isn’t the first time Greville has made front page news. In 2008, she attended Royal Ascot horse racing event with a large piece of Silton cheese on her head has part of a publicity event. The Manchester Evening News reported that Greville wore the cheese as part of a stunt for a Manchester-based company named Brazen PR. The firm had a contract to promote to the cheese across the United Kingdom.

4. In 2011, Giggs’ Personal Life Was Splashed Across the Front Pages After it Emerged That He Impregnated His Sister-In-Law & Paid for Her Abortion
In 2011, Stacey Cooke shocked by the revelations that her husband had an affair with reality TV star Imogen Thomas and his brother, Rhodri’s, wife, Natasha. It also emerged that he had paid for Natasha to abort his baby just a few weeks before she wed Rhodri.
A year ago the Daily Mirror reported that Giggs and his brother had reconciled and were even seen out clubbing in Manchester together.
