Nyle DiMarco was the cycle 22 winner of America’s Top Model. From there, he went on to win the mirrorball trophy on Dancing With the Stars. What made this achievement extra amazing was the fact that DiMarco is deaf. He cannot hear the music or find the rhythm through sound. DiMarco makes the impossible possible and shows that anyone can achieve anything they put their minds to.
Tonight, DiMarco performed The National Anthem at the NBA Finals. How is he doing this if he doesn’t hear or speak? DiMarco took on signing the anthem while the crowd sang and local vocalist Jessica Ruiz kick off the song. DiMarco donned a plain white tee while he signed the Star Spangled Banner.
It’s game four of the NBA Finals tonight in Cleveland, Ohio at Quicken Loans Arena.
