As an athlete, you know you hit the big time when you are cast to star in one of ESPN’s “This is SportsCenter” commercials.
And they didn’t come much bigger than Pat Summitt, the Hall of Fame women’s basketball coach for the Tennessee Volunteers who died Tuesday after a battle of early-onset dementia.
She starred in the ad alongside ESPN personalities Kenny Mayne and John Buccigross about 8 years ago.
