WWE SmackDown Spoilers & Results for This Week, June 9

After an eventful Monday Night Raw, which ended with New Day teaming up with John Cena to take on The Club, we’ve got an exciting SmackDown in store this week, further developing some of the feuds that will pay off during Money in the Bank. The June 9th taping took place at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, and it’s one of the last times we’ll get to enjoy SmackDown spoilers prior to the show going live in July. Sadly, Teddy Long did not make an appearance, but it still sounds like a worthwhile episode based on the early spoilers.

Via Bleacher Report, here’s everything that happened on this week’s SmackDown, which will air Thursday on the USA Network:

We begin with The Club, who start talking about this week’s Monday Night Raw and the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view before being interrupted by Enzo and Cass. As you might expect, they go after the Club as being SAWFT.

Later, a match between Enzo and Cass and Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows ends in disqualification after New Day and the Vaudevillains interfere.

In a backstage segment, Titus O’Neil is angry at Rusev for dishonoring Muhammad Ali’s legacy, and he promises to defeat Rusev at Money in the Bank.

Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio defeat Sami Zayn and Cesaro, with Owens and Zayn specifically going after one another and fighting outside of the ring.

Becky Lynch defeats Dana Brooke.

Baron Corbin defeats Kalisto; the feud between Corbin and Dolph Ziggler is further developed as Ziggler joins in on commentary.

Chris Jericho defeats Dean Ambrose. As the night ends, Ambrose attacks Jericho with a ladder.
