The BMX events of the 2016 Rio Olympics get underway on Wednesday, as the men and women take the course for their seeding rounds. BMX, which debuted at the 2008 Beijing Games, is the newest event in the cycling Olympic events.
Looking for a live stream of the BMX seeding runs? There are a number of different options available, depending on where you live. The men’s seeding begins at 1:34 p.m. EST. The men will have 32 riders competing. They will have a quarterfinal on Thursday and semifinals on Friday.
Latvia’s Maris Strombergs, who took gold in Beijing and London, is the favorite to win again in Rio.
