Plus, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will confront each other one last time before their match to determine who will be the first ever WWE Universal Champion. Raw will be broadcast live from Corpus Christi, Texas at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the USA Network. Read on for live results and spoilers, followed by a full preview of the night’s events as written earlier this afternoon.

8:00 – Outside the arena, Seth Rollins says he has business to attend to with Finn Balor. He calls out to The Demon King, telling him to show himself, but nothing happens. Rollins laughs and says that Balor is too scared.

8:04 – Rusev and Lana appear in the ring, outraged about Roman Reigns’ behavior last week. Rusev declares there will be no Raw until Reigns comes out and apologizes. Instead, Mick Foley enters. Foley tries to reason with Rusev, but he refuses to leave the ring and tells Foley that he sucks.

Stephanie McMahon enters, telling Rusev that his behavior is unacceptable. Roman Reigns enters and tells Rusev he’s sorry…he’s sorry he found that website where he met his wife. He’s also sorry because they’re going to have the ugliest babies ever. Rusev and Reigns both want to fight, and so Mick Foley decides they will have a match tonight; the United States championship will not be on the line, but rather this will be a way for Rusev to defend Lana’s honor.

8:18 – Sheamus says that Sami Zayn means nothing to him, calling him a cheap knockoff of the Celtic Warrior. He also says that while Zayn might be a tough guy on Twitter, he won’t be so tough during their match.

8:20 Sami Zayn defeats Sheamus.

8:32 – Backstage, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens say that they have each others’ back. They also mock Enzo and Cass, calling them a cancer in the locker room. Kevin Owens and Big Cass will have a one on one match later this evening.

8:39 – Mick Foley decides to put Sheamus and Cesaro in a best of seven series, which starts at SummerSlam.

8:40 The New Day defeats The Dudley Boyz. Before and after the match, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows appear in another “ringpostitis” video.

8:45 – The New Day says that the power of positivity will help them defeat Anderson and Gallows at SummerSlam.

8:50 – Seth Rollins wanders around backstage looking for The Demon King. He runs into Neville, who tells Rollins he isn’t ready for Balor.

8:52 Nia Jax defeats a local jobber.

8:59 – Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman enter. Just as they Heyman begins speaking, Heath Slater enters. He continues calling himself the hottest free agent in the business; he also says that he’s being given another opportunity for a WWE contract if he beats Brock Lesnar tonight. Heyman tries to completely ignore Slater, but he won’t go away. Slater says that he has kids he needs to take care of.

Lesnar eventually engages with Slater directly, telling him he doesn’t care about his kids. Lesnar begins beating up Slater, completely dominating him within seconds.

Paul Heyman transitions into talking about Randy Orton, saying that Orton doesn’t have the guts to step up to the plate and fight Lesnar like Slater just did, instead sneaking up from behind. He also hypes up the SummerSlam match with Orton as being one for the history books.

9:19 – Big Cass and Enzo Amore enter. Enzo says that at SummerSlam, he and Big Cass are going to bring the beef right to Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens, making an extended barbecue analogy.

Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho enter, psyching Owens up for his match.

9:22 – Kevin Owens fights Big Cass. Chris Jericho intervenes, leading to disqualification and a win for Big Cass.

9:32 – Backstage, Rusev assaults Roman Reigns.

9:37 – Darren Young and Titus O’Neil reunite as The Prime Time Players to fight The Shining Stars. O’Neil turns on Young during the match, leading to a Shining Stars victory.

9:46 – Neville defeats Jinder Mahal.

9:52 – Backstage, Mick Foley reveals that Jon Stewart will be a guest at SummerSlam. Seth Rollins wanders by, still looking for The Demon King. Foley suggests Rollins calls him out from the ring.

9:57 – In the ring, Seth Rollins says no one will stop him from becoming the first WWE Universal Champion, not even The Demon King. Rollins says he’s been looking for The Demon King all day, but Finn Balor is scared of him.

Finn Balor enters as The Demon King, and Rollins and Balor fight. Rollins is forced to retreat backstage, shaken.

10:15 – Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows defeat The Golden Truth. At the conclusion of the match, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods attack Anderson and Gallows, getting their revenge.

10:26  Charlotte defeats Alicia Fox. After the match, Sasha Banks goes to confront Charlotte, but she’s attacked from behind by Dana Brooke.

10:38 Roman Reigns defeats Rusev. The United States championship was not on the line, but in the match, Rusev hoped to defend his wife’s honor. The two will go up against one another again at SummerSlam, this time for the U.S. championship belt.

On August 15th’s show, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman will make another appearance to talk about Randy Orton, who in recent weeks has said he would kill the legend of The Beast at SummerSlam. Orton recently crashed Raw to attack Lesnar, and The Beast got his revenge on SmackDown the following night. Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan have sworn they’ll keep their performers in line, but will they be successful? And what will Lesnar’s final word to Orton be prior to their battle?

Plus, United States Champion Rusev is still pretty upset with Roman Reigns, who crashed his Raw wedding ceremony last week and caused Lana to get a face full of cake. Rusev has vowed revenge, and although the two will fight for the United States Championship at SummerSlam, according to WWE.com, we should expect Rusev to confront Reigns tonight.

Then, of course, we have the feud between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, the latter of whom is known as The Demon King. According to WWE.com’s official preview, “Rollins aims to conjure The Demon King on Raw,” and he may or may not regret that decision. Balor made his debut on the main roster just a few weeks ago, but he’s having quite the month with the WWE, already on track to potentially become the first ever WWE Universal Champion.

Finally, The New Day will confront Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson after Big E was taken out of commission, and we’ll see more of Darren Young and his quest to become great again. It all begins tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on USA.
