The Bengals have had a tough start to their 2016 campaign, and are coming off consecutive losses heading into Thursday night’s meeting with the Miami Dolphins.

But things are different now. Burfict is back for the Bengals.

Vontaze Burfict will return from his three-game suspension tonight, and the 26-year old linebacker will return to anchoring the Bengals defense. Burfict came back last year after an injury-plagued 2014, and peaked last year during the NFL playoffs against Pittsburgh. Burfict had a huge sack, a forced fumble and an interception against Pittsburgh, but it was his late penalty against Antonio Brown that cost his team crucial yardage and ultimately the game.

The Dolphins opened a renovated Hard Rock Stadium with a victory last week, scoring an overtime touchdown to edge Cody Kessler and the Browns. The Dolphins have struggled under first-year head coach Adam Gase, and have turned the ball over seven times over the last two games after a solid start against Seattle.
