Florida State vs. Louisville: Point Spread, Total & Prediction

This week, the marquee matchup kicks off at noon with the Florida State Seminoles taking on the Louisville Cardinals. According to OddsShark, Florida State is favored by one point. The point total is set at 68 points.

The game features two young quarterbacks squaring off in the ACC matchup. Lamar Jackson leads Louisville and has had one of the best starts of any quarterback in the country. According to Shutdown Fullcast, if Jackson were a college football offense, he would rank 44th in the country.

Deondre Francois leads the Seminoles and proved what he is capable of in the second half of the opener against Ole Miss. Both quarterbacks have the ability to hurt defenses with their legs as well as throwing the ball.

The Seminoles will look to slow down Louisville’s offense without safety Derwin James.

The OddsShark computer likes Louisville to pull off the 38.8-32 home upset against FSU. The computer is taking the Cardinals against the points and the over on the point total.

While Louisville has been destroying teams, they have not faced a true test like Florida State did against Ole Miss. We are betting that we will see the Seminoles team from the second half of that game rather than the first half. Heavy likes Florida State to squeak out a win and cover the spread.
