LSU takes on Wisconsin in the best venue of any college football game this weekend. Lambeau Field plays host to the Tigers and Badgers in what is technically a neutral site game, but Wisconsin expects to have the crowd on their side.

According to OddsShark, LSU enters the matchup favored by 10 points. The over-under is set at 44.5 points. The OddsShark computer likes the Badgers against the spread as it projects a narrow 30.8-26.4 LSU victory. The computer likes the over on the point total.

LSU enters both this game and the season with massive expectations. The Tigers have one of the more talented rosters in the country. Brandon Harris is a more than capable quarterback and has two NFL-caliber receivers to throw to including Malachi Dupre. The best running back in the country, Leonard Fournette, returns for another season and could make LSU’s balanced offense very difficult to stop.

For Wisconsin, Bart Houston will get his first start at quarterback, and fans can expect a heavy dose of running back Corey Clement. Clement against the Tigers’ defensive line offers a matchup of strength against strength.

Despite the OddsShark computers bullish Wisconsin projection, it is hard to map out Wisconsin’s path to victory in this matchup. The Badgers will need LSU to under-perform in the game which is something that has haunted the Tigers in recent seasons.

The S&P+ gives LSU a 77 percent chance of winning against Wisconsin and projects a double-digit margin. Heavy sees LSU having its first offensive explosion of the season as the Tigers march to victory in Lambeau.

Heavy’s Pick: LSU 30 Wisconsin 17. LSU -10. Over on the point total.
