Before the New England Patriots and Houston Texans kick off Week 3 with a matchup on Thursday night, soulful country artist Morgan Myles will provide her rendition of the national anthem.

She announced the news on Twitter:

A rising star on the country music scene, Myles’ EP, Miss Morgan Myles, which she released earlier this year, was met with acclaim. It rose to No. 22 on the iTunes Country music chart, and as a result, she landed on Rolling Stone‘s list of country artists to know, as well as TasteOfCountry.com’s list of artists to watch in 2016.

“She’s got the voice and hooks to connect with a wide audience,” wrote the Boston Globe‘s Sean L. Maloney. “She makes soulful country with warm echoes of rock and R&B, sprinkled with moments that recall why Faith Hill, Shania Twain, and Sheryl Crow transcended their respective genres.”

Singing the national anthem in front of thousands of fans at Gillette Stadium should only continue to increase Myles’ popularity.
