At the WWE’s Clash of Champions pay-per-view this evening, one of the most shocking moments came when Cesaro landed on his neck after a suicide dive. So the big question fans are asking as the event wraps up is how is Cesaro doing? Was he seriously injured by this?

We’ll find out more heading into Monday Night Raw tomorrow, but thankfully, the very early reports are that Cesaro appears to be doing okay. Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported this on Sunday night, saying that doctors were ready to check on Cesaro the moment he walked backstage following the Sheamus match.

If Cesaro really is completely fine, that is pretty incredible, as it’s easy to see how a fall like the one he took could have lead to a concussion or even paralysis. WWE fans are all too used to seeing their favorite superstars genuinely damage their bodies due to mistakes in the ring, and so Twitter absolutely blew up with fans expressing concern during the match at Clash of Champions. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem this is another Finn Balor situation; in that case, reports that he had a serious injury began to spread shortly after SummerSlam ended.

Even WWE commentator Jim Ross chimed in on this whole situation on Twitter, saying that Cesaro “dodged a significant bullet” with what he described as a flawed move. On-air personality and Talking Smack host Renee Young also wrote that Cesaro is “a mad man” and a “freaking hero.”

Unfortunately, for all the talk this match generated on social media, the end wasn’t super satisfying, as officials were forced to call things off when both superstars were so merciless on each other. This was supposed to be the conclusion of the best-of-seven series, so tomorrow on Monday Night Raw, we’ll have to see how that’s going to be resolved.

Weirdly enough, the superstar that’s generating talk of an actual injury sustained tonight is Seth Rollins, as Alvarez also reported on Twitter that Rollins may have legitimately injured his ribs and that he is going to be looked at by doctors. Hopefully he’ll wind up being fine, but stay tuned for updates regarding Cesaro and Rollins as they recover from an exhausting night.
