Alabama takes on Tennessee in an SEC rivalry matchup. According to OddsShark, Alabama is favored by 12 points on the road.
The over-under is set at 57 points. The OddsShark computer projects a 43.8-25.4 Alabama victory. The computer is taking Alabama to cover the spread and the over on the point total.
Tennessee has been a difficult team to predict each week. They have gotten off to slow starts and used the second half for some miraculous rallies. Their good fortune finally ran out last week against Texas A&M, but the Vols sent the game into overtime after trailing by double digits.
Alabama enters the matchup undefeated and features dynamic quarterback Jalen Hurts along with their usually stout defense. The Crimson Tide are undefeated and 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games on the road.
The Vols have had good fortune this season and have the advantage of playing this game at home. Look for Tennessee to hang with Alabama, but we like the Crimson Tide to pull away in the fourth quarter to cover the spread. Alabama’s offense is as good as we have seen them have in recent years and the defense is as good as advertised.
