The Jacksonville Jaguars hung on at the end at got their first win of the season on Sunday, beating the Colts 30-27 in London.
The Jaguars sacked Andrew Luck six times, the most he’s been brought down in his career.
The early start made it tough to watch, as both teams started like they both needed coffee. But the offenses came alive in the second half, combining for 30 points in the final quarters.
Jacksonville, the slight favorite heading in, got started when Andrew Luck’s pass was tipped and intercepted deep in his own territory. Bortles hit Allen Robinson for the first touchdown, and gave the Jaguars a lead they would never relinquish.
Indianapolis started slow, and didn’t come alive until it was too late. They scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter, including a 64-yards TD pass to Philip Dorsett that brought the game within three. But with possession and a chance to steal the game, the Colts pass protection continued to break down and the Jaguars defense saved the day.
The Jaguars (1-3) are on a bye next week, while the Colts (1-3) will have to rebound from the long flight to host the Bears next Sunday.

It’s been a rough start for the Colts offense, with two dropped passes and now this early interception. The Jaguars are one of the league’s worst teams when it comes to scoring early, so we’ll see what they do with great field position here.

Thanks to a steady diet of TJ Yeldon, the Jaguars are on the board. The ground game got them moving, then Bortles fired a slant to Allen Robinson for the game’s first score.
Hurns Outruns the Colts Defense to Extend Jacksonville’s Lead
Robinson got his, and now it’s Hurns’ turn.
Hurns took a quick out from Bortles and made his defender miss the tackle. He then used quick footwork and a cavalry of blockers to escape the defense and scamper for a 42-yard TD. The Jaguars look to be heading towards their first victory of the season, leading 30-20 late.
Luck Responds With a Long TD to Dorsett
Here come the Colts.
A breakdown in the Jaguars defense left Philip Dorsett wide open and Luck didn’t miss, hitting his receiver for a 64-yard TD. The Colts are right back in it, but need a stop from their struggling defense to give Luck another chance with the ball.

The Jacksonville Jaguars hope to even out their record on foreign soil Sunday morning when they face the Colts at Wembley Stadium.
The Jaguars are across the pond for the fourth consecutive year, and are 1-2 at Wembley after defeating the Bills 34-31 last season. Sunday will be the first time they face an opponent within the division, and it’ll be the first time they’ve gone into the game winless since 2013.
Yes, the Jaguars are winless again, but it isn’t as bad as the record indicates. Throw away the blowout loss at San Diego, and the Jags have lost their two home games by a combined four points. If Blake Bortles can cut down on the interceptions, the Jaguars won’t be winless for long.
The Colts thought getting Andrew Luck back to start the season would fix all of their problems, and it hasn’t. The Colts have struggled in their first three, going 1-2 with a defense ranked 30th in points allowed.
